PANKs y PETS: Un apego casi maternal

El objetivo de este estudio fue comparar la percepción que reportan las mujeres con hijos y sin hijos con sobrinos (PANKs, por sus siglas en inglés) sobre el vínculo con sus mascotas en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Se compararon dos submuestras de iguales características de 204 mujeres cada una, una con hijos, y otra sin hijos y con sobrinos. Se estudiaron variables relacionadas con actividades y percepciones de las participantes. Las pruebas de Chi Cuadrado, y el análisis de la varianza sugieren que las PANKs perciben mayores niveles de apego y vínculos con sus mascotas que las mujeres con hijos.
