Abstract
The author attempts to present, from one of the works of Bravo Lira, the main veins traversed by the iushistoriador reseach. Of special interest are the political constitution of Spanish America, the constitucional formulation of its kingdoms, the changes in the law and the judge's work in the course of six centuries.
